Cortney Kelley Photography, for adorable people.
I doubt anyone would call me shy. Or boring. I love to create things--whether it be knitting, drawing, practicing music, flinging clay around a pottery wheel, or swirling up some magic in the kitchen. It's about living an artful life, creating from the soul. I believe we are all artists, just working with varied mediums. I absolutely treasure my sweet family, and am so grateful for the time I have with our grand daughter. And my hearts breaks a little bit every day, aching for our oldest son, Austin, who is now in the angelic realms. This life is truly a gift. Make the most of yours...
Things I LOVE...
• Coffee in the morning
• Walking in the forest
• Unwinding with a lovely glass of wine in our little cottage nestled in the woods
• Planning travel excursions
• Trying new food and experiences
• Snuggling in bed with a good book
• Things that are green
• Laughing until my abs give up
I do my best to live a life that leaves our world a little better. I think people feel good when they are with me, at least that is my goal...
I am amazed by the beauty in our world and strive to draw it out everytime I pick up my camera. I prefer black clothes and funky bracelets. I draw inspiration from art, music, things that grow, coffee, the abundant energy of kids, the way the wind lifts leaves off the ground. And yes, my eyes unapologetically well up every time I watch a slideshow with my clients...
That's a bit about me, now how about you? Think we would be a good fit? If so, please call 360.528.7590 to arrange your custom portrait session. I look forward to working with you!
